Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford has joined Aston Villa on-loan.
The Carrington graduate hasn’t featured for Ruben Amorim since mid-December, with the United boss publicly calling out the players attitude and banishing from his matchday squads.
It was clear that Rashford wouldn’t feature under Amorim unless he changed his approach, and now the 27-year-old has sealed a loan move to Aston Villa until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
After the completion of the deal, Rashford took to Instagram and said: “I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen.
“I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision – I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the manager’s ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started.
“I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season.”
