The NBA's trade season is in full swing now that a majority of players who signed contracts in the offseason are trade-eligible for the first time this season.
That doesn't necessarily mean that there will be a flurry of trades between now and the NBA trade deadline on Feb. 6, but that won't stop the rumor mill from churning until then.
Here are the latest NBA trade rumors:
Kings exploring Fox trade

Just over a week before the trade deadline, the Sacramento Kings appear to be making their top star available. The team is expected to open up trade talks involving De'Aaron Fox, ESPN reported. While several teams are expected to pursue Fox in a deal, the All-Star has a preferred destination and the Los Angeles Lakers aren't that team, ESPN added in its report.
Fox, 27, is in the midst of another standout season for Sacramento. He's averaging 25.2 points and 6.2 assists per game while shooting 46.8% from the field and 32.4% from distance. The Kings have also been on the upswing after firing head coach Mike Brown on Dec. 27, going 10-4 under interim coach Doug Christie as of Tuesday.
Fox will become a free agent at the end of the 2025-26 season.
Heat remain engaged with multiple Western Conference teams on Jimmy Butler trade
Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler still wants to be traded before the Feb. 6 trade deadline as he was suspended again by the team on Monday. The Heat are also working on a potential deal, keeping discussions open with the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors, " target="_blank"> according to ESPN. Miami is reportedly seeking short-term contracts and draft assets in return for Butler.
The Warriors and Suns are among the teams that are among Butler's preferred destinations, as previously reported. The Memphis Grizzlies are also among the teams expressing interest in Butler, but the Heat star doesn't want to be traded there, Chris Haynes previously reported.
Butler doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract. However, he has a player option in his contract that allows him to opt of his contract this summer, making him a flight risk for a team he isn't immediately keen on signing an extension with.
Randle on the move?
The Heat have their eyes on Julius Randle in a possible trade involving Butler, potentially seeking to include the Minnesota Timberwolves in a three or four-team trade in order to land the All-Star forward, SNY reported. Randle had previously been on the Heat's radar in the offseason before the New York Knicks traded him to the Timberwolves in September, according to SNY.
Randle is in the final year of his contract and is set to become a free agent this offseason. He's scoring 18.9 points per game to go with 7.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as he's struggled to fit in offensively with the Timberwolves.
Who is interested in Ingram?
The Toronto Raptors have emerged as a team to watch in the Brandon Ingram sweepstakes if the New Orleans Pelicans opt to move him, longtime NBA insider Marc Stein reported. Ingram's name has been involved in trade rumors for much of the season as he's in the final year of his contract. He's been out with an ankle injury since the start of December, playing a role in the Pelicans' standing toward the bottom of the league this season.
As for the Raptors, they want to add a "significant piece" to their roster as they're also among the bottom of the league in wins, Sportsnet reported.
Beal not interested in move to Chicago
As the Suns continue their pursuit of Jimmy Butler, one speculated package was a four-team trade that involved Bradley Beal going to the Chicago Bulls. But the All-Star guard has nixed that possibility, indicating that he will not waive his no-trade clause to go to Chicago, The Athletic reported.
Beal has been at the center of trade rumors in recent weeks, with speculation surrounding him even if he isn't moved for Butler. Beal would be willing to waive his no-trade clause if he's traded to a winning team, but he doesn't have interest in playing for a team in a cold weather environment, The Athletic added in its report. Beal would also be comfortable remaining in Phoenix, according to HoopsHype.
Now in his second season with the Suns, Beal's scoring just 16.9 points per game, the second-lowest mark of his career. Additionally, he was moved to the bench in the first week of January.
What Chicago wants for Vucevic and who is interested in the big?
Nikola Vucevic is arguably the top big man available for trade ahead of the deadline. With that being the case, the Bulls are seeking a first-round pick for the standout center, according to Stein.
The Lakers aren't among the teams seeking to trade for Vucevic (and they're uninterested in Raptors center Jakob Poeltl), but the Warriors are interested in the Bulls center, Stein reported. However, the Warriors have hesitated to offer more than second-round picks in draft capital for Vucevic, Stein added.
Vucevic has been one of the few standouts for a middling Bulls squad this season, averaging 20.1 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. The Warriors, meanwhile, might be seeking to squeeze out a playoff push with their aging core. But their recent struggles have pushed them to 22-23, placing them in 11th in the Western Conference.
One contender out of LaVine sweepstakes
The Bulls have also garnered trade interest for Zach LaVine, who has seemingly revived his career this season after a down year in 2023-24. But the Denver Nuggets aren't among the teams looking to land the two-time All-Star guard, The Denver Post reported.
LaVine had been speculated as a trade target for Denver as it had some bumps early on in the season. Jamal Murray also got off to a slow start, though he's seemingly rebounded from that. Murray's averaged 21.3 points per game while shooting 47.7% from the field and 40.2% from deep since Dec. 13, helping Denver go 16-8 in its last 24 games.
