Jennifer Garner says hydration is 'so important' — shop her go-to water bottles - chof 360 news

Meal prepping and decluttering are common New Year's resolutions. They can also be really hard to stick with come spring. But drinking more water? That's a totally attainable goal that doesn't require a massive time commitment or financial investment. Just treat yourself to a durable reusable water bottle — OK, and maybe a water filter if you're weird about the stuff straight from the tap — and you're ready to start hydrating.

Quick Overview

There's no denying that 2024 was the year of the Stanley. The viral tumblers were everywhere (except, of course, on shelves in stores when you wanted a popular one.) But it's important to note that there are other solid options out there. chof360's home editor Kristin Granero's faves include HydroFlask and Lifefactory, but you can also get inspo from actress Jennifer Garner's picks. Over the years, she's used a few water bottles that shoppers agree are worthy buys. Learn more about them below.

Stanley

Last year, Garner told Prevention that she'd joined the legions of fans who love their Stanley Quencher Tumbler and carry it around everywhere. "I am embarrassingly wandering around my house, jingle jingle with all of my ice inside. [The tumblers] are definitely having a moment, and I’m right there," Garner told the magazine. She added, "Whatever gets us drinking more water. It’s so important."

If you're wondering whether a $45 water bottle is worth it, here's what one chof360 editor thinks.

There's lots to love about the No. 1 bestselling Stanley Quencher Tumbler. It fits in most car cup holders, it's BPA-free and it's made from insulated stainless steel that can keep drinks cold for hours. In addition to the extra-large 40-ounce size, the cup also comes in 14-, 20- and 30-ounce sizes.

Important to note: This tumbler is not leakproof. If it tips over, expect its contents to come spilling out. If you're looking for a Stanley product that doesn't leak, consider the Stanley Quencher ProTour Flip Straw Tumbler.

S'well

If you like the idea of tossing a bottle in your bag and not worrying about liquid spilling all over your belongings, then consider the S'well bottle that Garner is a fan of. Photographers caught Garner with a green S'well heading to the gym in 2017 and again in 2022. The caps on these bottles twist on tightly and securely, and shoppers say they're "absolutely leakproof."

Made from "triple-layered vacuum insulated stainless steel," S'well water bottles promise to keep beverages icy for up to 36 hours or steamy hot for up to 18. There are lots of colors to choose from in three sizes — 7 ounces, 17 ounces and 25 ounces.

"My wife loves this water bottle. It keeps water cool even when left in a hot car. The metal design is durable and has been dropped several times already with no issue. The only issue at all is that it is metal and hard to see the fill level when refilling with the chilled water from the refrigerator. It is hard to prevent overflowing when filling," one shopper explained.

Bkr

Folks who don't like the idea of their water picking up any metallic taste, take note. In 2013, Garner was snapped carrying a Bkr water bottle. And again in 2015. And again in 2018. You get the point. Unlike Stanley and S'well, which are stainless steel, Bkr bottles are made from glass and have a protective rubber cover. That means they don't have the same insulating benefits as the other two brands, but the company argues that glass is superior because it won't release any chemicals or impart any flavor into your beverages.

If keeping your water as pure as possible is more important than having it stay cold for hours on end, then take the plunge and purchase a Bkr bottle. They're leakproof, easily fit into cup holders and they can go in the dishwasher once you remove the silicone sleeve. Choose from 10 colors in the 16-ounce size. Or check out the 32-ounce model and the new 22-ounce Demi Bottle.

"Best water bottles ever!" one Amazon shopper raved in their review. "I’ve been using Bkr bottles for years and absolutely adore them! They’re simple and beautiful, the glass means your water just tastes like water! I keep about seven in my fridge at all times and they’ve basically replaced drinking glasses in my home. Also love that they’re dishwasher safe!"
