OXFORD City were thrashed 5-0 at home by Vanarama National League North promotion hopefuls Curzon Ashton.

Two goals in the space of three minutes towards the end of the first half saw the Hoops behind at the break.

The visitors had posed a threat on the counter-attack, and took the lead with seven minutes to go until half-time when Luke Griffiths smashed home from 30 yards.

City never recovered, and Stefan Mols doubled the advantage when he cut infield and fired inside the near post.

Midway through the second period, Isaac Sinclair slid in to convert an Isaac Buckley-Richards cross, before the latter got his name on the scoresheet with a close-range finish with quarter of an hour to go.

Luis Lacey added the fifth goal for the Nash just a couple of minutes later, to round off a miserable evening for the Hoops.
