Gavin Henson appeared at Walkabout in Cardiff wearing his old Wales kit and sporting his famous 2005 Grand Slam haircut.
The 33-cap Welsh rugby hero was a guest on a live show for The Rugby Pod with former Scotland international Jim Hamilton and former England star Andy Goode. An audience of around 350 people lapped up his old stories the night before Wales v Ireland, 20 years on from the most famous Six Nations triumph thos century.
Henson has typically kept himself out of the limelight since retiring from rugby, but has recently come back into the public eye. Last summer, he started playing again for boyhood club Pencoed RFC, and has been starting at fly-half throughout the season.

Just a few weeks on from making an incredibly rare podcast appearance with Hamilton on 'The Big Jim Show', where he spoke about his life in rugby and 'The Chimp Paradox', Henson answered questions on stage in the popular Cardiff drinking spot.
Not only was he back in the limelight, but Henson sported the famous look that so many fans can remember from his younger days - gelled hair, fake tan and that fantastic red jersey.

Alongside playing rugby again, in his personal life Henson has been running his gastro pub 'The Fox' in St Brides Major, which opened in 2020.
"I'm much more comfortable not being in that," said Henson to Hamilton after being asked about the glitz and glamour of professional sport. "That's not really me. But that's what comes with it, I suppose, when you're in the public eye with rugby. They've been great experiences, but it's been nice to be out of it and just do family life and setting up a business. That has its own pressures, and that's my living now."
