The 2025 Six Nations returns from its first fallow week with a blockbuster third round of action, starting on Saturday.

We kick off proceedings in Cardiff, where interim coach Matt Sherratt takes charge of lowly Wales for the first time following Warren Gatland’s exit mid-tournament as the wooden spoon holders face a massive challenge to try and end their record 14-match losing Test run against historic three-peat and Grand Slam-chasing Ireland at the Principality Stadium.

The action then moves on to Twickenham for the game of the weekend, where resurgent England will look to build on their shock last-gasp win over France last time out to try and finally halt a damaging run of Calcutta Cup losses against old rivals Scotland.

Round three wraps up in Rome on Sunday, where a wounded France team will be looking to quickly bounce back from their unusually profligate display against England with the pressure suddenly on as they take on Italy ahead of a mammoth trip to Dublin in their next fixture.
