A number of NBA first-timers are vying for the Rookie of the Year award.

2024-25 NBA Rookie of the Year odds:
Kel'el Ware, Heat: +110 (bet $10 to win $21 total)
Stephon Castle, Spurs: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)

Jaylen Wells, Grizzlies: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)

A big man is atop the oddsboard, but it's not the one that was atop it earlier this season.
That was Zach Edey, who has now dropped to +1000. The new favorite is Miami's Kel'el Ware, who has been on a tear of late.
While Ware is averaging just 8.6 points, 4.8 rebounds and a block (as of Jan. 28), in the entire month of January, he's putting up 13.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.5 blocks, including two 25-point games, a 22-point game and a 20-point game.
Second on the board is Spurs guard Stephon Castle. He's averaging 11.7 points, 3.6 assists and 2.5 rebounds as of Jan. 28.
