Accounting and advisory firm Anchin adds two partners - chof 360 news

US-based accounting and advisory company Anchin has appointed two professionals, Ryan Babiak and Thomas Miranda, to its partnership.

Ryan Babiak has taken on the role of a tax partner in the Professional Services and Technology Groups of the firm while Thomas Miranda was named an audit partner in the Consumer Products Group.

A CPA with a Master of Science in Taxation, Babiak has expertise in tax planning, compliance, and state and local tax matters.

He works with entrepreneurial, venture capital, and private equity-backed businesses, advising startups and established technology companies.

Miranda, also a CPA, focuses on audit and advisory services for consumer product businesses.

He provides guidance on cost management, benchmarking, inventory control, and third-party financing.

Anchin managing partner Russell Shinsky said: “We are thrilled to welcome Ryan and Thomas to the Anchin team. Their specialised knowledge and expertise will amplify our ability to meet growing market demands.

“They join a dynamic roster of new partners who were drawn to Anchin's unique culture and independence. As the accounting industry continues to evolve, we see tremendous opportunities to deliver even greater value to our clients as an independent firm.”

Anchin, which serves privately held companies, investment funds, and high-net-worth individuals, has strengthened its leadership over the past year with the addition of five new partners and three managing directors.

In December 2204, Anchin named Robert Smith as a partner and the leader for the firm’s Emerging Companies Group.

Smith brings more than a decade of experience in advising companies on tax and financial strategies.

The firm has a workforce of around 600, which includes more than 65 partners. It is a member of BKR International.

Anchin has offices in New York City, Uniondale, New York), and Boca Raton and Palm Beach Gardens in Florida.

"Accounting and advisory firm Anchin adds two partners" was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
