Stocks Open Higher With Solid Earnings in Focus
Stocks were rising Friday in the wake of strong results from Apple and an update on inflation that matched expectations.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 150 points, or 0.3%. The S&P 500 was up 0.5%. The Nasdaq Composite was up 0.8%.
The yield on the 2-year Treasury note was unchanged at 4.22%. The 10-year yield was up slightly at 4.52%.
