Manchester United opted against signing a panic buy towards the end of the January transfer window to leave Ruben Amorim short in his attacking options.
Despite failing to score in nine Premier League games and sitting in 13th in the table on -6 goal difference, United will be made to work with the tools at the club. Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven both arrived to bolster Amorim's defence but there remains concerns over Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.

For the remainder of the season, Amorim will work with the current squad available to him. However, news of Lisandro Martinez's cruciate ligament injury means the United boss will be without one of his first-choice centre-backs.
Having been unveiled as a first-team signing, Heaven could make his debut for the club before the season ends. Dorgu is certain to come straight into the starting XI with Diogo Dalot, naturally a right wing-back, struggling recently at left wing-back.
Senior club sources have insisted that the hierarchy and Amorim are pleased with the business done over January. United also completed the signing of highly-rated 17-year-old Diego Leon.
The Paraguayan left-back is not currently at the club due to regulations put in place following the UK's exit from the European Union prohibits Premier League clubs from acquiring foreign players under the age of 18.
Leon turns 18 in April and will arrive in the summer to begin his United career. Similar to Heaven, Leon is viewed by the club as a high-potential recruit for the long-term who didn't cost a lot of money.
