Wanderers Women could extend their lead at the top of the table when they host second-place Penrith this weekend.
Bolton are currently six points clear following a remarkable season to date, taking maximum points from all 15 matches.
Penrith have also had a strong campaign, winning 13 of their 16 matches so far to keep their promotion hopes alive.
“We are feeling refreshed from the break we have had,” manager Myles Smith told The Bolton News. “Everyone is happy to be playing back at home.
“We are looking forward to the challenge that Penrith will bring because it will definitely be a challenge.
“They will bring absolutely everything they possibly can because they need to win this game in order to keep their title hopes alive.
“A draw or a loss would probably make it really difficult for them to kick on and win the league. When you play a team in that position, you know that they are going to bring absolutely everything.
“No matter the time on the clock, no matter the scoreline, they are going to go right to the final whistle and we have to be ready for that.
“They are a team who have had some great results this year. They have had a tremendous season, they deserve a lot of applause and a lot of credit. We have to be ready for that energy they bring.”
Wanderers beat Preston North End in the Challenge Cup semi-final last time out, but Smith insists they must put the final to the back of their minds and be fully focused on the task at hand in the league.
“The final has not been spoken of in camp,” he added. “I know the club are working on some amazing things behind the scenes, getting ready for it, but we are just focused on the next game.
“As it gets closer, we will start to prepare for it. But we have to just look at the next game, we have got seven league games left and our focus right now is on Penrith.
“One game at a time is how we have to look at it and not look too far ahead to the future.
“Hopefully, we can tick off these next seven and get enough points to achieve what we set out to do at the start of the season.”
Sunday’s match takes at the Dreams2Reality Stadium (2pm) and attendance is again free of charge.
