Ruben Amorim has confirmed Manchester United defender Noussair Mazraoui has "a little problem" amid his absence from the starting line-up for tonight's clash with Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

The United head coach has made two changes for this evening's visit of the Tractor Boys following Saturday's 2-2 draw with Everton at Old Trafford, handing recalls to Leny Yoro and Alejandro Garnacho in place of Mazraoui and Casemiro. Yoro and Garnacho stepped off the bench in the second half at the weekend.

Despite Mazraoui's injury concern, he has been deemed fit enough to be named on the bench this evening. However, Amorim has confirmed Yoro was always going to start tonight's game due to his suitability to face a team of Ipswich's profile.

Amorim told MUTV: "Noussair has a little problem but Leny was already [going] to play. Leny is a big talent.

"He is very agile, very good to get the players between the lines. We try to see the opponent and we try to choose the better players to start the game. Garna' is to give different pace in certain moments of the game."

United will hope to start well this evening after producing a spirited comeback against Everton in the second half. They have scored just one first-half goal in their last 17 matches in all competitions.

"It is a big game for us, we need to win, we need to have three points and at the end of the game we should be here with three points," Amorim added.

"It is not enough, 20 minutes in one game - it as a quarter of the game. We need to start on the front foot and that is clear.

"We need to be really focused. In many games, we had a disadvantage first and then we started playing football. Our goal is to start from the first minute."
