Crystal Palace playmaker Jadan Raymond is due in Scotland on Sunday to undergo a medical at Queen’s Park.
The 21-year-old is in line to join the Scottish Championship side on a six-month loan.
Raymond’s wages will be partly covered by the Glaswegian club, with the final details in the process of being agreed between both clubs, Standard Sport understands.
Raymond has been at Palace’s academy since the age of eight, but his contract is up at the end of the season. This would be his first loan spell away from the Eagles.
The attacking midfielder spent two weeks on trial at Swindon Town earlier this month, but the League Two outfit decided to target players in other positions in the January window instead of pursue a loan deal for him.
Born in London, Raymond has represented both England and Wales internationally at youth level.
Palace are hoping to sign cover at centre-back in the final days of the winter window after Trevoh Chalobah was re-called from his loan by Chelsea and Chadi Riad suffered a suspected ACL injury which will keep him out for the rest of the season.
