Manchester United will be targeting their first Premier League win in four matches when they welcome Ipswich Town to Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.

United halted their run of two straight league defeats by fighting back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday. Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte both found the net with impressive strikes to earn the Reds an unlikely point.

The Reds now need to attempt to build on that spirited fightback and attempt to record a much-needed home win against the relegation-threatened Tractor Boys. United have lost five of their last six league games at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the visit of Kieran McKenna's side, head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed he does not expect to recover any injured players, meaning he will be picking from the same pool of players that made up Saturday's matchday squad.

Below, our writers have each had their say on how they would like to see the Reds line up:

Samuel Luckhurst

Plenty of United players have been starting by default for a while and that has to continue with nine players still set to be missing tonight. Leny Yoro has to come back into a back three that did not cope with Beto at Goodison Park and Matthijs de Ligt was the worst of the trio, despite Harry Maguire's appalling error for the second goal.

Diogo Dalot stymies United but there is not an obvious alternative on the right wing with Noussair Mazraoui in defence. Bruno Fernandes should drop back next to Manuel Ugarte and Alejandro Garnacho has to start after he was harshly dropped at Goodison Park.

Joshua Zirkzee is not a centre forward but he keeps the ball and has had more about him than Rasmus Hojlund since the turn of the year. Christian Eriksen should be fresh after he was unused at the weekend.

Tyrone Marshall

Amorim would probably love to make changes to this team but he has very few options available to him right now. I would bring Yoro back in and rest De Ligt. Maguire has the strength to do battle with Liam Delap and Mazraoui relished his confrontation with the striker at Portman Road.

I would drop Fernandes back alongside Ugarte for a home game and look to try and really control the game, although the problem remains creating chances in the final third. United look better with Dorgu on the left and Dalot on the right.

Garnacho has to come back into the team to provide some spark and I'd keep faith with Zirkzee for now. There is little alternative but to play Hojlund, although I would keep bringing Chido Obi on and give him another 20-25 minutes here if the Dane isn't firing.

George Smith

Yoro deserves a place back in the starting XI as he attempts to try and finally settle into some sort of rhythm. He is considered as the long-term solution on the right of the back-three and should be deployed alongside Maguire and De Ligt, despite neither of them covering themselves in glory at the weekend.

Dalot has regressed this season and is clearly not the wing-back Amorim needs in his system. However, a lack of alternative options at right wing-back means he will almost certainly retain his place.

United instantly looked better at Goodison once Fernandes dropped deeper, meaning he should start alongside Ugarte in midfield, allowing Garnacho to reclaim his place in attack. Hojlund is not currently an attractive option to lead the line but he is the only senior figure available.
