MIDDLESBROUGH have been dealt a fresh injury blow, with Rav van den Berg ruled out of tonight's game at Stoke City.

The severity of the injury is not known but the centre-half wasn't deemed fit enough to feature at the bet365 Stadium.

George Edmundson replaces the Dutchman at centre-half and partners Dael Fry.

That's one of three Boro changes, with Marcus Forss and Finn Azaz also coming into the side, replacing Kelechi Iheanacho and Delano Burgzorg, who both drop to the bench.

It's just a third Championship start of the season for Forss, who is likely to start on the right side.

Mark Robins has also made three changes to his Stoke side. Former Boro defender Ben Gibson misses out through injury.
