Glass is heavier than plastic, but the tradeoff is that you'll be able to put the bases in this set into the oven (up to 450°F). Like their plastic counterparts, they're also odor- and stain-resistant, dishwasher-, microwave- and freezer-safe, airtight and leakproof.
