Liverpool and Arsenal have had their Champions League pathways decided, and now both sides will battle it out for European and domestic glory.

The draw for the Champions League last-16 has now been made, with the Reds set for a showdown with French champion Paris Saint-Germain next month. Arsenal, meanwhile, has been pitted against PSV Eindhoven - the only team to have beaten Liverpool in European competition this season.

For now, thoughts will turn back to the Premier League for both sides, with more crucial games to come this weekend. Liverpool currently sits eight points ahead of Arsenal after Wednesday’s 2-2 draw with Aston Villa, although the Gunners now have a game in hand.

With their Champions League commitments now added to the calendar, here is what the next few weeks look like for Arne Slot and Mikel Arteta’s sides.

Liverpool's next 6 fixtures

February 23: Man City (A), Premier League

February 26: Newcastle (H), Premier League

March 4/5: PSG (A), Champions League

March 8: Southampton (H), Premier League

March 11/12: PSG (H), Champions League

March 16: Newcastle, Carabao Cup final

Liverpool's immediate focus will be on a trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City on Sunday - a game which could well play a big role in their title hopes. Arsenal has of course already faced City twice this season, thrashing them 5-1 at the Emirates Stadium at the start of the month.

Newcastle will provide another stern test on Wednesday, before the Reds make their way to Paris for the first leg of their last-16 tie. Southampton visit Anfield in between the two legs, before a first piece of silverware is up for grabs for Slot as Liverpool takes on Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

Arsenal's next 6 fixtures

February 22: West Ham (H), Premier League

February 26: Nottingham Forest (A), Premier League

March 4/5: PSV (A), Champions League

March 9: Manchester United (A), Premier League

March 11/12: PSV (H), Champions League

March 16: Chelsea (H), Premier League

The Gunners host West Ham on Saturday, and while they will be favorites, the pile-up of injuries to their forwards will make things more difficult. A trip to Nottingham Forest a few days later will not be easy either, as Liverpool can confirm.

A trip to Eindhoven follows a week later, while Arteta will take his side to Old Trafford in between the two legs of their last-16 tie - Liverpool fans certainly wouldn't mind a favor from Ruben Amorim's side there. And just before the Reds battle it out at Wembley, Arsenal will be taking on Chelsea in another fixture that will test its title credentials.
