While plenty in the league are one again trying to ban the "Tush Push" this offseason, the NFL said Wednesday that its data showed there were no injuries on the play across the league at all last season.

Tom Brady apparently ran into Matthew Stafford at a ski resort in Montana recently, though there wasn't any "recruiting" going on to try and get Stafford to join Brady's team in Las Vegas.

The Giants also reportedly met with Stafford's reps in Indianapolis.

The Rams have said their "first goal" is to keep Stafford on their team moving forward, but they are fine with him gauging his value this offseason.

"We've never really allowed agents to go out and talk to teams," Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said this week at the NFL scouting combine. "I think that's kind of [one of the] ones that probably happens anyway. And Jaire's got a great agent. If we ever went down that route, I think it would be very easy to work with him and his team. I don't really expect that, but we've never really done that.

"I think it's something that if we were going to trade a player, we would do that and it would be the conversation between me and the other team."

Injuries and suspension have limited the 28-year-old Alexander to 14 total games over the past two seasons. His 2024 season ended in early January after undergoing surgery to repair a damaged PCL.

When the Washington Commanders ranked as the lowest-graded workplace in the league last year, new team owner Josh Harris responded bluntly: “I’m not an F-minus guy.”

After a season to implement changes in the wake of Daniel Snyder’s forced sale, Harris proved it as the league’s consecutive-year 32nd team jumped to 11th place in the NFLPA’s annual “report card” survey.

First-year head coach Dan Quinn ranked as the league’s most-liked coach as he took a 4-13 Commanders team to 12-5 and an NFC title game appearance in his debut year. The Commanders also improved their food services, travel and family accommodations as they rose from an F-minus workplace grade to B.

In contrast, the New York Jets fell from the 21st-ranked team to the 29th as players reported concerns that team owner Woody Johnson was not willing to invest in improvements (Johnson ranked last), did not contribute to a positive culture (last) and did not commit to building a competitive team (second-last).

“They talked about the culture — it’s a problem, top down,” NFLPA chief strategy officer J.C. Tretter said of the Jets’ response. “[They said,] ‘It’s a culture of fear here.’ And I think that stood out in those grades.”

"I feel like it's very realistic," Carter said on Wednesday. "I feel like I'm the best player in the country and the best player should be picked first. It's the work I put in with my dad, who trained me, and all the sacrifices I made, I know I'm the best."

Carter will not work out this week as he's healing from a shoulder injury and he'll show off his skills to scouts at his Penn State pro day.

Titans Pro Bowl LB Harold Landry has been reportedly allowed to seek a trade, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 28-year-old is due a $17.5 million base salary for the 2025 season. He played every game last season and recorded 9 sacks, 71 tackles and 18 pressures.

The FBI is looking into an alleged extortion attempt against Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White, his lawyers said on Tuesday.

While the exact nature of the extortion is unknown, the statement threatened against "illegal and defamatory threats and demands."

The Browns still don't have any interest in trading Myles Garrett despite his request to get out of the city.

“We can’t imagine a situation where not having Myles as a part of the organization is best for the Browns,” general manager Andrew Berry said on Tuesday. “We don’t have an interest in trading Myles.”

Jason Peters is calling it a career. The longtime offensive lineman is retiring after 19 seasons in the league, the Seattle Seahawks announced on Tuesday. Peters, 41, is a nine-time Pro-Bowler and helped the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl during the 2018 campaign.

He joined the Seahawks last offseason after short stints with both the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys.

Godwin's season came to an end in November after his dislocated his ankle on a tackle by Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith.

Sixteen massage therapists from eight high-end spas in Baltimore have come forward to accuse the Ravens kicker of inappropriate behavior. The NFL is involved in the investigation.

Green Bay Packers president Mark Murphy has let it be known that he is very much against the play, complaining recently that it is "almost an automatic first down on plays of a yard or less" and citing the Washington Commanders' comical repeated attempts to stop the play in the NFC championship game.

"He's a unique player," Callahan said Tuesday. "There's not a whole lot of other players you can compare what he's done. There's not many guys that have played that many snaps on both sides of the ball. You watch his tape and see his ability to play both at a very high level."
