One of the NFL's best defensive players has requested that his longtime team find him a new home.

On Feb. 3, the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett officially requested a trade from the Cleveland Browns, releasing the following statement:

Will the Browns actually trade their franchise pillar? And if so, where to?

Let's check out the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Feb. 24.

Myles Garrett next team

Commanders: +275 (bet $10 to win $37.50 total)
Browns: +350 (bet $10 to win $45 total)
Bills: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
Eagles: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Lions: +700 (bet $10 to win $80 total)
Bears: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Packers: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Chiefs: +1600 (bet $10 to win $170 total)

Garrett, 29, went No. 1 in the 2017 NFL Draft and has spent the entirety of his eight-year career in Cleveland. He is a four-time first-team All-Pro selection, a six-time Pro Bowler, and as previously mentioned, won the league's DPOY award in 2023.

Garrett has tallied at least 10 sacks in every one of his professional seasons outside his rookie year. He led the league in tackles for loss this past season (22) and over the last five seasons, he's missed only four games.

So, why does he want out? Well, he hasn't won much in Cleveland.

Garrett has played in just three playoff games during his eight years with the Browns, going 1-2 in those games.

If the most recent lines are any indication, Garrett could end up with a winner if he leaves Cleveland.

Currently, the Commanders have the best odds to land Garrett, shortening slightly to +275 from +300 over the last week. In 2024, Washington's defense allowed 327.9 yards per game in 2024.

Second on the board are the Browns. Their odds shortened to +350 from +500.

The Bills are third at +400.

Fourth on the board is Philadelphia. After the Eagles won the championship, their odds jumped to +500 from +1000. Now they're +550 after sitting at +450 last week.

This past regular season, Philly was the best defense in the league. It was the only team in the NFL to allow fewer than 300 yards per game (278.4).
