Once one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most important players, Dele Alli’s decline has certainly caught people’s attention.
Still only 26 years old, the former Tottenham striker seems to be deteriorating before everyone’s eyes in his football sense.
Everton loaned him to Besiktas during the summer transfer window in what was not rock bottom for the star who has emerged at Tottenham as one of Europe’s hottest young talents.
Things did not go well in Turkey, as his manager had criticized him just earlier in November for his performance.
And now there is another development regarding the former England international.
According to Takvim, Turkish forces have identified a replacement for Alli.
The outlet claims that the 30-year-old Dia Saba from Sivasspor has been earmarked as a player to replace the former Tottenham Dynamo in January.
The fact that Besiktas believes a completely obscure player that few people have ever heard of would be an upgrade over Alli is another heartbreaking development in this latest chapter of Alli’s footballing saga.
Alli looks like he could go back to England this winter but the troubling question is if he can’t pass the degree in Turkey what will happen next?
