Recap: Road cleared after emergency services attend crash between car and bike

Police and ambulance crew attended the scene after an accident between a car and a bike this morning (November 25). An eyewitness told Gloucestershire Live that motorists were turning at the cordon which had been placed on Caernarvon Road in Up Hatherley.

Traffic management website Inrix reports: “Reports of an accident, car and bike involved on Caernarfon Road in both directions from Alma Road to Hatherley Road. Traffic coping well.”

However, the road has now reopened and the police confirmed that the cyclist was taken to hospital as a precaution.
