The rumor mill revolves around Chelsea and USMNT forward Christian Pulisic, as the American seeks more playing time.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a departure from Stamford Bridge this summer after falling down the pecking order.
The club are open to the possibility of signing the winger if Chelsea give him the blessing to leave, according to the athletic.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle side has now been linked with a move for the fallen Blues man
The report claims that Pulisic will be considered a broad option if made available.
Meanwhile, according to reports from Italian outlet CMW, Pulisic was offered by Chelsea in an outright swap deal that saw the American move to Roma in exchange for Nicolo Zaniolo.
However, Roma boss Jose Mourinho seems keen to keep the young Italian after he stepped in too late to block a deal that would see Zaniolo move to Tottenham for $49 million.Read:How to watch Scotland v Ukraine for free – TV channel, kick-off time, team news to day
Pulisic has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and must bide his time on the bench
It seems that, for the right price or the right replacement, Chelsea would be ready to move on from a player who seems to have no permanent place in the starting line-up, especially after Raheem Sterling’s takeover this summer.
In addition, recent reports from the Guardian have claimed that Tuchel does not trust Pulisic, who worked with him when they were both at Borussia Dortmund.
Despite his lack of confidence, Tuchel may have no choice but to use Pulisic as a banking option in the meantime.
Following the American’s performance in the team’s opening game against Everton when he was introduced from the bench, NBC’s Robbie Mustoe said he felt Pulisic should demand more playing time.
“Pulisic comes into play looks lively, looks sharp,” noted Mustoe.
“He should knock on the manager’s door and say, ‘How about giving me a chance?’ Those other guys have had a lot of opportunities lately.”
