Newcastle are open to selling Allan Saint-Maximin if they can beat Chelsea and secure a deal for Everton’s Anthony Gordon, with a number of Premier League clubs chasing the French star
Newcastle will consider offers for Allan Saint-Maximin if they sign a deal for Everton’s Anthony Gordon.
A number of Premier League clubs have already inquired about the Frenchman as he was also suggested for Gordon in talks.
Earlier this week, Sportsmail confirmed that Newcastle were in formal talks with Everton over a deal for Gordon, but that they are also in talks with several European clubs about attacking options from the continent.

Newcastle are matched by Chelsea for the 21-year-old Toffees winger, who is reportedly valued at £60 million.
That price is well above Newcastle’s estimate and they had initially suggested striker Chris Wood as a potential makeweight before he joined Nottingham Forest on loan.
When asked if there were any developments regarding Gordon’s acquisition following Newcastle’s 1-0 win over Southampton in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final, Eddie Howe gave nothing away.

The 21-year-old winger has been linked with both a move to Newcastle and Chelsea in January
“I can’t tell you anything at all,” he said. “I’ve been preparing for this game for the past two days.”
Newcastle have been flying lately, but Howe is looking to bolster his attack as his side recently struggled to be clinical in front of goal.
Gordon, who has three Premier League goals to his name this season, has fallen a little out of favor at Goodison Park amid the team’s recent troubles.
