Man Utd 'consider TERMINATING Cristiano Ronaldo's contract unless they see a change in his attitude'

MANCHESTER UNITED could end Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract if he doesn’t change his stance, according to reports.

United are said to be concerned about Ronaldo’s behavior and may consider ending his deal, the organization said air sports.

Ronaldo, 37, stormed off after United’s 4-0 defeat to Brentford without shaking hands with Erik ten Hag.

The Portuguese also punched David De Gea after his two errors gave the Bees a 2-0 lead.

Ronaldo was filmed waving his arms and pointing his frustration at the Spanish goalkeeper.

After the full whistle, Ronaldo failed to applaud the traveling fans and exchanged some short-sighted words with coach Steve McClaren before quickly leaving the field.

Ronaldo has asked to leave the club this summer and he sat down for confrontation talks with Ten Hag and agent Jorge Mendes when he returned to Carrington last month.

The striker wants to play Champions League football, but a transfer has not been made.

Ronaldo was offered to AC Milan and their rivals Inter, but both clubs rejected the option of signing the superstar.

The reported interest from Atletico Madrid and Sporting Lisbon has also not led to a move, leaving Ronaldo with few options.


In late July, CR7 tried to take matters into their own hands by reportedly asking the club to tear up its £360,000-a-week contract, which has one year left to run.

But Ten Hag claimed Ronaldo is still a big part of his plans and has not asked to leave.

Ahead of the Brentford game, the United boss said: “I work with the players we have and we are planning with him for this season and we are happy with him and we need to fit him into the team.

“So he needs to get to the right fitness level so he can do the work we expect him to do.

“We plan with him, so we plan around him too.”
