Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter Riley Keough shares FINAL IMAGE of the two before tragic death

Riley Keough said a heartbreaking goodbye to her late mother Lisa Marie Presley on Tuesday afternoon when she shared a photo from the last time they were together before her mother’s shocking death at age 54.

The 33-year-old actress was pictured sitting with her mother in a restaurant as they flashed sweet smiles to the camera, which she described as “the last time I saw my beautiful mother.”

She did not specify how long the photo was taken before Lisa Marie’s tragic death on January 12, after she went into cardiac arrest at home and had to be rushed to a hospital after CPR was performed.

The sweet photo was also shared after Riley revealed that Lisa Marie had become a grandmother shortly before her death, as she and husband Ben Smith-Peterson welcomed their first child, a daughter, shortly before her death.

In the photo, Lisa Marie was dressed in a sleek black suit and wore her dark brown hair in elegant curls that fell over her chest.

Riley wore a dazzling shiny gray crop top and skirt combo, and both stars leaned in closer for the photo.

“I feel blessed with a picture of the last time I saw my beautiful mama. Grateful @georgieflores took this. ❤️,” she wrote.

Riley’s post was a way of saying goodbye to her late mother after she got too emotional to give the speech she prepared for Lisa Marie’s memorial service on Sunday.

Instead, her husband Ben Smith-Petersen delivered the prepared speech in her stead.

During his speech, the Australian stuntman revealed that he and Riley had secretly welcomed their first child together.

“I hope I can love my daughter as you loved me, as you loved my brother and my sisters,” Riley wrote, after being seen with an unidentified baby on her arrival at Graceland the day before.

“I remember you driving me in my car seat while you played Aretha Franklin,” she wrote. “I remember the feeling I got when you picked me up from school.”

“Thank you for showing me that love is all that matters in this world,” she added, before writing that her late brother Benjamin Keough – who committed suicide in 2020 – and her half-sisters are “products of your be heart’. ‘

“We are you, you are us,” Riley wrote. “Thank you for doing so well for all of us.”

The service was a family affair, and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, was also there to honor her daughter before laying her to rest.

She read a poem she attributed to one of her granddaughters, though she did not specify whether Riley wrote it, or whether it was written by one of Lisa Marie’s fraternal twins Finley or Harper, 14.

The author called her mother “an icon, a role model and a superhero.”

“She always knew she wouldn’t be here too long… some say a broken heart killed her,” she wrote, referring to Benjamin’s shocking death.

Elvis Presley’s ex-wife added her own feelings at the end: “Our hearts are broken. Lisa, we all love you.’

An autopsy on Lisa Marie was completed just days after her death, but the cause of death is being withheld pending the results of a toxicology study, which could take some time.

The final toxicology report will reveal whether any substances were present in her body at the time of her death.

She was praised for her comedic performance in the black crime comedy film Zola (2020), and was honored for her directorial debut War Pony – co-directed by fellow filmmaker Gina Gammell – which earned the duo the prestigious Caméra d’Or for Best First Feature Film. year at the Cannes Film Festival.
