‘Home Alone’ actor Devin Ratray under investigation for allegedly ‘drugging’ and raping a woman

Home Alone actor Devin Ratray, 45, was arrested last December on charges of domestic violence. A former boyfriend, Lisa Smith, claims that after seeing those allegations, she contacted police about a rape allegation she made in 2017 that had failed to act.

Home Alone actor Devin Ratray is under investigation by New York authorities over allegations that he raped a woman in New York in 2017.

Ratray, 45, has been charged with domestic violence after his then-girlfriend alleged he strangled and beat her in Oklahoma last December.

He pleaded not guilty to those charges and will appear in court in October on the charges.

The former child actor is best known for his role as Kevin McCallister’s evil older brother in the 1990 holiday film Home Alone starring Macaulay Culkin.

After Lisa Smith learned about the assault case, she contacted prosecutors about a police report she filed in 2017 accusing that actor of raping her.

She told CNN she wanted to know why the case was not being prosecuted and was told authorities thought she wanted to remain anonymous and not press charges.

Smith claims she was friends with the actor for about 15 years before the alleged attack, adding that she met her brother and Ratray with another friend for drinks in New York just before the attack.

The group then went to Ratary’s apartment for another drink, where he insisted that Smith had a specific glass.

She says she quickly became exhausted after drinking it, and Ratray encouraged her to stay and sleep on the couch.

Smith believes she was drugged by the star, saying, “I remember waking up and not being able to move.

“I couldn’t really open my eyes, but I could hear what was happening and I felt what was happening.

“I knew the other two people were gone and I was still on the couch.”

She claims that the attack lasted for what felt like an “eternity” and that she was not able to regain control of her body until around 2 p.m. the next day when she fled the apartment.

The day after the attack, Smith told a friend, her sister and one of her brothers what had happened, then confronted Ratray in a text message.

He denied the attack, so Smith filed a police report a few weeks later and met an NYPD detective in Salt Lake City — who falsely indicated she didn’t want to prosecute.

Smith added that she is “appalled” that police did not investigate her allegations when she came forward.

At the time of the incident, she was traveling from out of state to be interviewed at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office and provided them with the clothes she was wearing the night of the attack.

She added: Why would I have even met with the DA years ago if I wasn’t willing to press charges? … This was all very disturbing to me.’

“When I saw that he was accused of assaulting someone else, I realized I had to do everything I could to prevent him from hurting more women.”

During the event, he was reported to have gotten angry with his girlfriend while the pair were drinking in a bar after she failed to ask two female fans for his autograph.

The fight then continued in the hotel bedroom where he reportedly turned violent and attempted to strangle her.

Ratray is now charged with domestic violence and assault by strangulation, as well as domestic violence and battery.

A police source revealed that Ratray “turned himself in and was processed and tied up”.

He was released after paying $25,000 bail. He denies the allegations and will appear in court in October in connection with those allegations.
