Harry Kane wore £520,000 RAINBOW Rolex as he arrived for England’s World Cup

England captain Harry Kane is pictured wearing a Rolex rainbow watch worth £520,000 upon his arrival at the FIFA Stadium in Doha on Monday ahead of England’s World Cup victory over Iran.

This comes as FIFA finds itself embroiled in a controversy over the human rights record of host country Qatar, specifically its ban on homosexuality.

Teams were asked not to wear OneLove armbands in support of the LGBTQ+ communities, though German players protested by putting their hands over their mouths before their match against Japan – a sign of silencing them.

Kane was knocked on his right ankle after a clumsy challenge by Morteza Bouraliganji in England’s 6-2 win over Iran on Monday – the national team’s biggest-ever win at the start of a major tournament.

The Tottenham striker, who has ankle problems, played for 25 minutes but was seen limping after the game and underwent a precautionary check.

But after he finished a lighter training session on Wednesday, England boss Gareth Southgate confirmed Kane would be fit to face the United States.

MailOnline revealed in September that Kane had hired a well-respected Spaniard, who works in Ontario, Canada, to help him treat his well-documented ankle problems.

The expert has worked wonders with Kane, who has been relatively injury-free for more than two years after a history of nagging problems – particularly with his ankles.

Elorriaga Claraco, who studied at the University of Oviedo in Spain and McMaster University in Canada, works with Kane on a monthly basis away from Tottenham’s training center in Enfield.

The Football Association is aware of Kane’s contact with Elorriaga Claraco during the tournament.

Tottenham’s Managing Director of Football Fabio Paratici is also in Doha and has been briefed on the striker’s condition given Kane’s huge importance to the Premier League club.

Speaking on Wednesday, Kane’s teammate Jordan Pickford eased concerns about the Tottenham striker’s fitness: “I think he’s good, a little sore but he’s fine and he’s been with us on the turf. He’s our captain, he’s been good. He’s fine.”
