Global atlas of medical devices 2022


The 2022 edition of the Global Atlas focuses on showing how medical device topics are developed supports or hinders the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Country profiles include facts indicating the national status of Medical devices in areas such as: medical device policies, regulations, incorporation, listings, inventories, Terminology, health technology assessment, management, and biomedical engineering resources. this is The publication is intended for use as a reference by decision-makers in non-governmental ministries of health Organizations and academic institutions involved in health technology in the region, national, regional or global. This publication was consulted over a period of 6 months in 2021 and 2022 referred to in the report of the World Health Assembly WHA 75/11 and its addendum WHA75/11 Add.1 on the Standardization of Medical Device Nomenclature.
