Four games already confirmed for Game Pass next month

December is — somehow — already approaching, which means another month of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass additions is on the way. Here’s everything we know about Game Pass’ December 2022 arrival so far.

Microsoft hasn’t yet made its first announcement of what’s coming next month, but thanks to holy script – I mean, our big list of all the games coming to Game Pass in 2022 and beyond, as we’ve looked up all the previous announcements, you already know four titles heading straight to Game Pass in December 2022. Check them out below.

Hello Neighbor 2 – December 6 (Console/PC)

Hello Neighbor 2 – which interestingly describes itself as a “family-friendly stealth horror” – has us playing reporter Quentin, who heads to the town of Raven Brooks to look through a number of missing persons reports. In this sequel, we investigate this entire town rather than just one neighbor’s house, though once again Mr. Peterson appears to be involved in whatever mysterious business is going on…

Chained Echoes – December 8 (Console/PC)

In Fantasy JRPG Chained Echoes, a war has been raging for a long time between the three kingdoms on the continent of Valandis, prompting our group of heroes to set out on a quest for peace. According to the Chained Echoes Steam page, the game will offer about 30 to 40 hours of playing time, during which we will engage in turn-based battles, loot crafting items, customize our airship, and travel the land (either on foot or in a mech).

Infinite Guitars – December 13 (console)

Rhythm RPG Infinite Guitars sees a world ravaged by humanity’s war with Mechs – when they return, we’ll use the electric guitar against them in battles and boss battles that fuse together RPG, action, and rhythm aspects.

High On Life – December 13th (Console/PC)

High On Life is a comedy-adventure, first-person shooter, and arguably the most anticipated December release. As you might expect from Squanch Games, High On Life seems made up entirely of random mayhem: we start out as a teen with no job or plan in mind, until we suddenly take on the role of a bounty hunter after an alien cartel invades Earth. To make a dope out of humanity. Armed with talking guns, we set out to explore, acquire new weapons and skills, and fight our way through this bizarre battle. If you’re interested in reading more, check out High On Life’s full interview!

We should hear more about the rest of December’s Xbox Game Pass additions soon — plus, we still have the entire Q4 2022 section on our big lineup of games coming to Game Pass in 2022 and beyond; There aren’t many World Cup matches left in 2022, so we’ll keep an eye on when they are added!

Which of December’s additions are you most interested in so far? Let us know in the comments!
