Face of Clifton man Jamie Barrow who appeared in court accused of murder of neighbour and her children

This is the face of a 31-year-old man who appeared in court in Nottingham accused of killing his neighbor Fatoumata Hydara and her two daughters.

Jimmy Barrow, of Fairisle Close, Clifton, is charged with murder following the Clifton tragedy on Sunday, 20 November. Barrow first appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court on Friday (25 November) after being charged following a fire in the family home.

Fatoumata, a former volunteer worker, announced her death two days after her two daughters, Naima Drame, aged one and Fatima Drame, aged three, died as a result of the fire at Fairisle Close in the early hours of Sunday. .

Police confirmed on Thursday evening (November 24) that they had charged Barrow with the murders. He appeared before the judges on Friday morning. He gave his address at close fairisle His name is Jimmy Edwin Barrow and his date of birth is September 14, 1991. Charges have been brought against him; He is alleged to have killed Fatoumata Hydara at an address, also in Fairlisle Close, on 22 November this year.

He then allegedly killed Fatemeh Dramameh at the same address as her mother on November 20. The last charge that was read was that of the dramatic murder of Naima – on the same date as Fatima, and at their address.

The clerk told Barrow that the matters were very serious and would be dealt with in the Crown Court.

During the two-minute hearing, Barrow pulled his hands behind his back as he was led into the court room by the custodial officer. He spoke clearly as he gave his details.

No further details were provided about the allegations he faces.

The judge told Barrow that the three allegations he faced had to be heard at the Crown Court and accordingly, “I will be sending all three of these matters to Nottingham Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Monday, 28 November, at 10am”.

Barrow was taken into custody for the hearing at the Crown Court.
