Earley crash leaves woman dead as Thames Valley Police launch investigation

A woman in her 80s has died after a crash on the busy Reading Road. Police and paramedics were called to Wokingham Road, at Mill Lane Junction, Airlie, around 9.50pm on Wednesday, 23 November.

The accident involved a blue Toyota Yaris and a gray Mercedes CLA 180. The woman who was driving the Yaris was taken to hospital, where she died.

The investigating officer, PC Greg Jones, of Thames Valley Police’s Joint Operations Roads Police Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this crash to come forward. We are also asking any drivers who have dash cameras and were in the area around the time of the collision, Check any footage in case it captured something that might help the investigation.
