Coventry boy, 14, charged in connection with Nuneaton stabbing

A Coventry teenager will appear in court today to face charges relating to a stabbing incident in Nuneaton. The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Coventry Magistrates Court today (24 November).

He faces three charges in connection with a stabbing incident at a house in Coventry Road, Nuneaton, which resulted in a boy being taken to hospital and a man injured. The teen was charged with possession of a knife/blade in a public place, possession of a controlled drug and obstructing/restraining a policeman in the performance of his duty.

He was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but was released on bail until the next year.

A 16-year-old boy from Nuneaton was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He too was granted bail until the next year.
