A woman fights for her life after losing both her legs and an arm in a horrific auto accident.

It is believed that the woman, in her 60s, was using a tiller when the accident occurred in Balanden around midday on Thursday.

She was transferred from the property located in the southwest of the state to receive treatment at Princess Alexandria Hospital for her serious and life-threatening injuries.

‘The victim had significant multiple trauma to her extremities but was conscious and able to speak to paramedics, who were able to stabilize the lady,’ Stephen Jones, spokesperson for the Queensland Ambulance Service, told 7News.

I’ve never seen or heard anything like this before. It’s just a miracle she had enough feeling to be able to get to that phone so quickly and get this help for her.

“Otherwise, it would be an utter tragedy here today.”

The woman remains in critical condition as workplace health and safety officials investigate the incident.
