Abu Dhabi’s G42 Healthcare, Israel’s Sheba Medical Centre To…

G42 Healthcare has announced a strategic collaboration with the Israel-based Sheba Medical Center, a leading medical center ranked among the top 10 hospitals in the world, in joint research projects and clinical trials across the UAE and Israel in the future.

G42 Healthcare will collaborate with Sheba Medical Center on AI-based solutions for research programs, build infrastructure, and collaborate for healthcare advancements in multiple areas including cardiology, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, diabetes, and fertility, shaping the future of healthcare across both the two countries.

The collaboration, which highlights joint efforts and cooperation in medical research and healthcare technology after the signing of the Abraham Accords between the UAE, Bahrain, Israel, the US and others in 2020, will focus on major healthcare investments and the delivery of cutting-edge innovations in healthcare in the UAE and Israel.

A key aspect of the collaboration will focus on leveraging the capabilities of G42 Healthcare’s research insights organization and solutions [IROS]the first contract research organization based in the United Arab Emirates [CRO] Which specializes in various areas of healthcare research including real world evidence and clinical trials in all therapeutic areas.

Ashish Kochi, CEO of G42 Healthcare, recently signed the strategic agreement with Prof. Dr. Yitzhak Kreis, General Manager of Sheba Medical Center, at G42 Healthcare’s office in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi.
