Manchester City take on Real Madrid in the Champions League tonight in what is a blockbuster play-off tie.
Both sides struggled in the league phase and as such missed out on a direct place in the last-16. City squeezed through on the final matchday and must now overcome the side that knocked them out on penalties a year ago.
Pep Guardiola's men have been struggling for form in recent weeks but the Blues have been given a boost with the return to fitness of several players ahead of the European clash. Here's the latest from the Etihad treatment room.

Nico Gonzalez
Injury: Hip
Gonzalez lasted just 20 minutes on his debut after his £50m deadline day signing, hobbling off after falling badly. Guardiola confirmed post-match that Gonzalez had taken a kick that was bad enough to come off but hopes that it was not serious enough to keep him out against Real Madrid. He trained on Monday.
Possible return date: Tuesday, February 11 vs Real Madrid
Ederson
Injury: Fitness
The goalkeeper missed last week's defeat at Arsenal as he was not fully fit, and was still unable to travel to Leyton Orient six days later. Guardiola did rest some key players ahead of Real Madrid, and Stefan Ortega was likely to play in the cup regardless of Ederson's fitness. The Brazilian trained on Monday.

Possible return date: Tuesday, February 11 vs Real Madrid
Jeremy Doku
Injury: Unknown
Guardiola hasn't publicly confirmed the nature of Doku's injury, only to say that the Belgian would be out for 'a while'. Guardiola had suggested the Arsenal game could have been a potential return date but Doku was missing at the Emirates and did not travel to Orient a week later. But he was pictured training with the squad on Monday.
Possible return date: Tuesday, February 11 vs Real Madrid
Nathan Ake
Injury: Unknown
Ake has missed the last six games with injury but Guardiola hinted at positive news regarding his missing players ahead of the FA Cup clash - with most training last week. So while Ake didn't travel to London on Saturday, he is back in training.
Possible return date: Tuesday, February 11 vs Real Madrid
Oscar Bobb
Injury: Leg
Bobb was closing in on a return last week after missing the whole season so far through a broken leg. However, he is yet to feature in a matchday squad and his absence at Orient felt telling as that would have been a perfect game for him to return. Reports suggest he has suffered a minor setback in his recovery with an ankle issue and he did not train on Monday.
Possible return date: Unknown
Matheus Nunes
Injury: Unknown
The midfield turned right back was not involved against Leyton Orient and did not emerge for training with his team-mates on Monday. The Portugal international seems set to miss the Madrid clash.
Possible return date: Unknown
Rodri
Injury: ACL
Rodri's injury has been well-publicised and he has spoken about returning before the end of the season - something Guardiola says would 'not be intelligent'. City want to give him as much time to recover and Rodri wants to come back as soon as he can.
Possible return date: June 2025
