Liverpool next 5 fixtures compared to Arsenal as Arne Slot could land huge Premier League title boost - chof 360 news

Liverpool is facing a run of five Premier League games in 15 days starting with Wednesday's Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, and the Reds will be eager to bounce back after crashing out of the FA Cup at the hands of Championship club Plymouth Argyle over the weekend.

On paper, those five games appear tricky. The trip across Stanley Park looks far tougher now than it did a month ago, with David Moyes having had the desired impact since returning to the Toffees. Everton has won its last three Premier League matches and the atmosphere is sure to be electric in what will almost certainly be the last Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

Slot's men will be the heavy favorites to beat Wolves at home four days later, but successive away games against Aston Villa and Manchester City over the following week will be a big test of the team's title credentials.

Liverpool's last league game of February sees Newcastle travel to Anfield in a dress rehearsal for the Carabao Cup final. The two teams played out one of the games of the season in December and it will likely prove to be another tricky test.

Arsenal only has three more league games in February, so if Liverpool wins all five of its matches over the remainder of the month, the Gunners will find themselves a huge amount of points off the top of the table come March 1.

Mikel Arteta's men travel to Leicester this weekend and that should be an easy three points, before a home game against West Ham, which they will also be expecting to win.

A trip to high-flying Nottingham Forest on February 26 will be tricky, as Liverpool found out last month, before Arsenal travels to Old Trafford on March 9. Manchester United has already knocked Arsenal out of the FA Cup this season, and while Ruben Amorim's men have struggled hugely in home fixtures in the Premier League, they have a tendency to produce their better performances against the best teams.

Chelsea at home on March 16 looks like a winnable game considering the indifferent form Enzo Maresca's men have been in in the league in recent weeks, but there are no guarantees when it comes to derby games, and Chelsea do possess the star quality to hurt any side.
