Liverpool has reportedly been "keeping an eye" on Jarrod Bowen amid continuing uncertainty over the future of Mohamed Salah.
It's no secret that Salah's current Reds contract is due to expire at the end of the season, with the club and the player yet to find a compromise on the terms of any new deal.
Salah, 32, seemingly wants to stay at Anfield but wants a multi-year deal on significant wages, but Liverpool tends to tread carefully when it comes to signing or handing new contracts to players over the age of 30.
With the impasse showing no sign of ending, Liverpool is understandably assessing its options, and former West Ham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that the Reds are considering moving for Bowen at the end of the season.

“I know he’s settled at West Ham, he’s a West Ham player, so that obviously plays a part," Brown said. “But sometimes there comes a time where managers come and go, certain things happen at a club, and you start to think it might be time for a new move.
“You could make the case that he’d be capable of playing for any top team in the country. Let’s say Arsenal lost Saka for any reason, Bowen would do brilliantly there.
“Liverpool have been keeping an eye on him actually, because of the situation they’re in with Salah, Bowen would be the perfect player to come in and replace him.
“He would be more than capable and he’d do a good job for Liverpool. So that might be one they look to do in the summer, even though he’s happy and playing for West Ham, they might see if they can tempt him.”
Bowen signed a seven-year deal at West Ham in October 2023, keeping him at the London Stadium until 2030.
