The debate about alcohol in Scottish football has been going on for as long as the ban has been in place.
Not since pre-May 1980 has alcohol been allowed to be served in Scottish football, if you're not in hospitality at least.
Those who can afford to spend big money for their ticket have been allowed to drink alcohol while the average punter is unable too.
There is also fanzones outside grounds that often allow supporters to drink, but within the confines of the stadium it has been illegal since the Scottish Cup Final in 1980 when riots broke out at Hampden between Old Firm fans.
