Manchester United supporters are once again feeling blue on Monday morning after watching their side get knocked out of the FA Cup at the hands of Fulham on Sunday evening.
A penalty shootout was the difference with Joshua Zirkzee having his all important penalty saved by Bernd Leno as the Whites won 4-3. After the match, the post-match analysis was marred by an indirect exchange of words between Ruben Amorim and Wayne Rooney.
The latter called the United head coach naive for focusing on the long-term goal of winning the Premier League. Amorim then hit back by suggesting that a punditry job was easy and insisting he was not naive.

In our latest look at the media headlines, it appears the Portuguese head coach is not enjoying himself at Old Trafford currently.
Amorim unhappy with two things at United
According to Give Me Sport, there are two things which Amorim dislikes about United currently. Firstly, he is disappointed with the current imbalance of the squad which has led the Reds to drop into the bottom half of the table.
Next is the poor recruitment which has plagued United with ageing players on high contracts. It is expected that Amorim will oversee a major overhaul of the playing squad in the summer transfer window.
What MEN Sport says: There is plenty that Amorim can quite rightly be unhappy about having entered through the door at Old Trafford. Decisions have been made prior to his arrival at the club that have been nonsensical and have impacted his ability to turn the tide at United. However, it is not like these issues were a secret. His apparent annoyances were common knowledge to those even vaguely aware of United's struggles so they can't be a surprise. The only thing he could legitimately be annoyed about is if Ineos have backtracked on the amount of money he can spend in the summer to get his players in, otherwise he is just going to have to lump it until the end of the season.
Arsenal looking to steal advantage for striker
According to Caught Offside, Arsenal are aiming to steal an advantage on United by entering into talks with Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. It has widely been reported that the 25-year-old wants to leave the Turin club in the summer after not agreeing to a new, less expensive contract.
Both the Gunners and the Reds are on the hunt for a centre-forward in the summer transfer window having found that area to be a challenge this campaign.
What MEN Sport says: If United are interested in Vlahovic, they will soon drop their interest in the striker if another club like Arsenal are keen. Ineos will not be willing to get involved in anything which even resembles a bidding war in the summer with finances tight, especially for a player who is not considered to be outstanding. His return of 14 goals in 32 appearances is modest and undoubtedly Amorim would prefer the Reds' efforts to be focused on a move for Viktor Gyokeres instead.
