ALEXANDER ISAK and Joelinton return to Newcastle United's starting side for this afternoon's FA Cup fifth-round tie with Brighton.

Eddie Howe has made six changes to the side that started the midweek defeat at Liverpool as his side look to make it through to the last eight.

Martin Dubravka returns in goal, replacing Nick Pope, who has struggled since returning from injury.

Kieran Trippier is back in the starting side, replacing Lewis Hall, who is not in the squad, although it remains to be seen whether it is Trippier or Tino Livramento lining up at left-back.

Joelinton is back in midfield, after recovering from injury, with Lewis Miley also getting the nod to start. Bruno Guimaraes and Joe Willock both drop down to the bench.

Isak has also been passed fit to play after recovering from the groin injury that kept him on the sidelines at Anfield.

The Swede replaces Callum Wilson, with Harvey Barnes also coming into the side for Jacob Murphy, who drops down to the bench.

NEWCASTLE (4-3-3): Dubravka; Livramento, Schar,  Burn, Trippier; Miley, Tonali, Joelinton; Gordon, Isak, Barnes.

Subs: Pope, Wilson, Targett, Krafth, Osula, Murphy, Willock,  Longstaff, Guimaraes.
