Tony Mowbray says there is no denying how good league leaders Leeds United are but insists a daunting trip to Elland Road should not faze them one bit.

Saturday's mouthwatering lunchtime kick off sees the Baggies travel to the in form side having come from behind to beat both Sunderland and Sheffield United recently.

Previewing the game, Mowbray said: "It is one we are looking forward to. I think it is just a really good test for us to see where we are really.

"We've watched them turn the last two games around, the Sunderland game where they were getting beat until very late on and found a way to win in the last few minutes and Sheffield United, again getting beat at half time and found a way to turn it around.

"So you can see their strength, you can see their quality, you can see the speed and all the attributes that you would want in a football team, I would suggest. They have managed to pull together and they are all playing with confidence and it's a big challenge for us but one that we should look forward to.

"I think we have got a good balance of youth and experience and it shouldn't faze us at all going there but the reality is when you study them and break them down, as you have to as a coach to prepare for the game, they are a very talented group, a very well coached group with wonderful attributes and assets on the pitch.

"I don't have any fears that they (his players) are not going to stand up to what's in front of them. When you go to the top teams, you need a bit of fortune to go your way, potentially some decisions, but I think we can go there and be very competitive.

"If we don't manage to get a result we'll move on quickly to the next one and try to get three points. If we do go and get a positive result then it will give everybody a lot of confidence we can do really well in the next 10 or 11 games.

"I say to my staff: If we were Liverpool or Arsenal or Manchester City going to Leeds, would we be having any fear? No, they would dominate the game and potentially win.

"I feel as if we have to have the confidence to go there and take them on. We're not going there to defend with everyone behind the ball all game.

"Now if they push you back because of their quality and talent and you have to defend with everybody then you have to do that.

"But our intention is to go to Leeds and play on the front foot, be aggressive and see if we can wrestle some of the game away from them.

"How can we stop them? A lot of teams have tried this year and not many have succeeded. They've got a lot of threats, (Manor) Solomon and Dan James, who is probably playing his best football.

"All over the pitch they have good players. They attack from everywhere, they are difficult to get off your back and the stadium is generally a cauldron of noise. They push them on. It's a game we're looking forward to, to enjoy the environment and show them we are a decent team."
