A NEW gymnastics centre will throw open its doors at Festival Leisure Park this weekend offering classes to youngsters and families.
The new Better Gym Gymnastics Centre has taken over the space previously occupied by Better Gym and will cater to all ages and abilities.
Bosses are hoping it will help “nurture the next generation of talent” and offers lessons following the Rise Gymnastics framework developed in partnership with British Gymnastics.

It will teach children fundamental skills that can be applied to other sports and activities, while also promoting peer interaction and learning.
Matthew Chambers, centre manager at Festival Leisure Park, said: “We are excited to be gearing up for the opening of the Better Gym Gymnastics Centre this Sunday.
“We encourage families to come along and take advantage of the free taster sessions running throughout the morning to gain an insight into what the forthcoming classes will entail and to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the centre.
“We look forward to seeing the next generation of gymnastics stars foster their talents here, and wish the new team all the best in their opening.”

Classes for youngsters aged 12-16 and 16+ are also available for those looking to start a new hobby.
Festival Leisure Park has said the centre will be “incredibly popular” with families in the area, highlighting the physical, mental and social benefits of participating in the sport.
These include improved hand-eye co-ordination, balance, reduced stress, increased mental resilience and the development of key social skills.
The opening day, on Sunday, will feature a series of free taster sessions, allowing the community to experience the activities and setup on offer.
These sessions will run from 9am to 11.45am.
The Better Gym Gymnastics Centre joins a range of leisure facilities at Festival Leisure Park, including Hollywood Bowl, Mr Mulligans and 360 Play.
The popular Cineworld also offers IMAX and 4DX screenings, with an on-site Starbucks, Baskin Robbins and a new Hot Bites menu for the perfect viewing experience.
Festival Leisure Park also boasts a wide range of food outlets, including Slim Chickens, Five Guys, Wagamama, Bella Italia, Pizza Express and Aroma.
