HOCKEY players from across the Herefordshire border helped their side win a national title.

The under-16 girls’ hockey team at Haberdashers' Monmouth School triumphed as Welsh National Champions.

Senior Head, Rachel Rees said: “They showed incredible determination, particularly in the semi-final, where two goals in the last four minutes secured their place in the final.”
