Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce are set for a titanic clash in the Istanbul derby against Galatasaray on Monday night.
Riding high on an eight-game unbeaten streak since early December, Fenerbahce are aiming to narrow their rivals' lead to just three points. Despite reported attempts by Galatasaray to prevent it, a foreign referee has been appointed for the match.
"The decision has been made and he [Slavko Vincic] is a top-level referee, I think it is important for credibility," Mourinho expressed to Turkish outlet Hurriyet. "I am happy with this decision. Although it may not seem like it sometimes, I am a person who wants fair play. We want to win, they want to win. I hope it will be a big match."

Mourinho, despite being only six points behind Galatasaray, contends that poor decisions have cost his side as much as 15 points this season. "Normally, we should be eight or nine points ahead," stated the ex-Manchester United manager. With former United midfielders Fred and Sofyan Amrabat taking part, not to mention reported transfer target Victor Osimhen as well, it could be a huge clash in the Turkish Super Lig.
